Welcome to Casa delle Palme, your peaceful holiday house protected by ancient olive trees and surrounded by terraces overlooking the sea like a vessel floating on the isle.

The perfect haven to retreat, rest and explore your creativity in communion with the volcanic nature of the island.
Casa delle Palme is a traditional aeolian country house in Filicudi (Aeolian islands - Sicily), with its white cubic shapes and flat roofs, enclosed by ancient olive trees that protect it from the mulattiera (public pathway). The several terraces (bagghiu) are enclosed by columns, and it's impossible to describe the view on the bay at sunset. Suitable for a family or a group of friends, it's the perfect place to relax and find a deep connection with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area but just 20 minutes walking down to Pecorini and the beach.
Things that make a difference: a Blüthner piano, the chirping of the cicadas in the olive grove, the peace, two showers with a view on the bay, a wooden loft bed in Aeolian style and our original wood-fired oven...
Our much-loved house features two bedrooms, livingroom, eat-in kitchen, one bathroom and four terraces with seaview.

BOOK THE ENTIRE HOUSE
and enjoy complete privacy... Perfect for families of four to six people who love to embrace slow living holidays! Casa delle Palme has two bedrooms (with three double-beds), a living room with pianoforte and scores for you to play (and a sofa-bed), eat-in kitchen and one bathroom. Outside, four terraces with epic view and an ancient olive grove.
Looking for an immersive local experience?
BOOK ONE ROOM
and stay with Benni, in a relaxed environment where you can share an aperitivo or you can totally mind your own business as well! You could also let Benedetta organize a morning/sunset sound meditation practice for you, set in special places of the island. Perfect for a group of friends, solo travelers, couples and even families, since your room can host up to four people. All the other spaces will be shared with Benedetta (the girl-guardian of Casa delle Palme) - the bathroom and kitchen is shared too!

If you're looking for the perfect location to organize a retreat or Artists in Residence program, or if you simply need more space to host family and friends, Casa delle Palme is located in a very peaceful residential contrada named Canale. Many of the surrounding houses are for rent and we can set it up for you.
