Filicudi

Filicudi is a little, powerful volcanic island located about 40 miles north of Sicily. It is the oldest of the seven Aeolian islands,
as well as one of the most wild and remote. Just under 10 square kilometers in size, it is a place where time cease to exist and nature takes control. Famous for its shape of a pregnant woman, its cristalline waters (stone beaches only) and the dreamy mulattiere (ancient pathways) for trekking lovers.

If this sounds as a steryle paragraph, it is because it's truly impossible for me to describe this land that I love and feel so deeply. So i guess you should come and discover it for yourselves!

HOW TO REACH THE ISLAND

The easier way to reach Filicudi is to take a hydrofoil from Palermo or Milazzo (or a sister island) or the night ship from Napoli.
